Whether or not you have received a diagnosis of anxiety, depression or bipolarity, you can attend a free weekly support group facilitated by mental health professionals.
In addition to being open to all, the support group is flexible and available when you need it. You can choose to participate in just one session or several, select the days most convenient to you, change your choices from week to week, or even stop and then pick up later. The support is adapted to the ups and downs in our lives.

Looking for a safe and confidential place to vent, learn, and hear from people who understand what you’re going through? Support groups aim to help participants feel less alone and better understood so that they can improve how they cope with the effects of mental health challenges on their daily lives. Facilitated by people who have experience, either as a family caregiver or having lived with mental illness, support groups offer an opportunity to develop a healthy perspective on mental illness, explore coping strategies, and learn about support services and resources in the community. Our support groups are free!

Forward House provides Community-based services and programs for adults who have experienced or are experiencing mental health difficulties. These include Day Educational Programs, Vocational Support Services, Long term Support, Sixties Support, Intensive Community Support and Residential Services.

Support Groups, Resources and Information Sessions
Location: Virtual (Zoom)
Mental Health Concerns: People suffering from eating disorders
Offered by: ANEB (Quebec)
Open support groups consist of a one-off support service that is offered throughout the year. Several groups are offered to people suffering from an eating disorder or experiencing an obsession with body image and others are aimed at loved ones. Open support groups remain a free service that requires no registration or long-term commitment from participants. Please note that these groups are offered to people aged 17 and over and that the participant's presence is required for the entire duration of a meeting.
